Humour of Bob Newhart & Tom Lehrer

Peter has now joined forces with actor extraordinaire Andrew Meller to present a fabulous, new, 90 minute show dedicated to the satirical humour of American comic legends Bob Newhart and Tom Lehrer’. During the 1950s and 1960s Bob Newhart and Tom Lehrer were regarded as the best American satirists. Lehrer with his sharp, often macabre and grotesquely comic songs such as 'The Masochism Tango', 'Poisoning Pigeons in the Park' and 'I Got it from Agnes'. Newhart with his far more gentle humour witnessed in classic sketches like ‘The Driving Instructor’, ‘Introducing Tobacco to Civilisation’ and ‘USS Codfish’. This is a wonderfully entertaining and light-hearted evening of wit suitable for all of those with at least a modicum of a sense of humour. To hear a promo from the show click here.
